Assurance Package Cash 2025 Payout: Find Out Your December Payment Amount and Eligibility

The enhanced AP Cash payout was announced in the 2023 budget and was meant to be processed until December 2026. According to the government estimate, around 3 million Singaporeans will receive AP Cash payment. 

Singaporeans will receive the AP Cash payout for Disbursement Year 2026 between $100 and $600, depending on various factors. The AP Cash helps Singaporeans with living costs and supports lower- and middle-income families. 

Who is eligible for the Assurance Package Cash 2025?

Singaporeans who meet the following eligibility conditions for the Assurance Package Cash payment will receive the December 2025 payout:

• You must be residing in Singapore and hold Singaporean citizenship. 
• Your age should be 21 or over in the disbursement year, that is, 2026.

What will be your Assurance Package Cash payout for December 2025?

The Assurance Package Cash payout depends on the income you earned in 2023, that is, your assessable income for the year of assessment 2024. If you meet the AP Cash payout eligibility conditions, you can see the payout based on the earned income and property you own.

When will you receive the Assurance Package Cash payout in 2025?

Singaporeans who qualify to receive the AP Cash payment would receive the payment automatically in December every year. Since you do not have to take any action, but if you wish to receive the payment early, you have to establish a PayNow-NRIC-linked bank account.  

The Singapore government distributes the AP Cash payment through PayNow-NRIC, GovCash, and Bank crediting. The AP Cash payout date depends on the payment method, such as:

Important Note: 

• The PayNow-NRIC is the default payment method for the AP Cash payment if your bank account is not recorded in the government records, while if you do not have a bank account or a PayNow-NRIC bank account, you will receive the payout through the GovCash.  
• If your eligibility for AP Cash has been reassessed recently, you will get your payment within 2 months of the reassessment.  

What’s the last date to link NRIC to PayNow?

If you wish to receive the AP Cash payment early, you must link your NRIC with PayNow. However, if you wish to complete the link, you must do it before the deadline of 23 November 2025. 

If you wish to know how you can link your NRIC with PayNow, you can do it in the following way:

• You must have an account with one of the participating banks in Singapore, such as GXS Bank, Bank of China, HL Bank, CIMB, HSBC Bank, ICBC, Citibank, HL Bank, MariBank, RHB Bank, OCBC, Trust Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, State Bank of India, and UOB. 
• And then log in to your bank’s internet banking or mobile app and go to the Pay & Transfer section.
• Click the PayNow option, and click the register NRIC or FIN, and later confirm your NRIC/FIN. 
• Now select your bank account and link your NRIC to complete the linking. 

Now, if you do not wish to receive the payout through PayNow-NRIC, you can provide your bank account details to the e-services by 29 November 2025 and confirm your payment by mid-December 2025.
