The Singapore government supports eligible households with U-Save rebates to help them cover their utility bills and provide some relief from the rising cost of living. If you are Singaporean and expect the payment, you can find full details here.
U-Save Rebates are part of the GST Voucher, Assurance Package, and Budget 2025 Cost of Living, which supports HDB households with utility bills. In Singapore, these rebates support more than 950,000 households every quarter.
The total amount for 2025 ranges from $440 to $760, depending on the type of HDB flat, and the next payment for FY 2025 will be made in January 2026. Singaporean households will automatically receive this payment, so they do not have to do anything.
Who will receive the U-Save Rebates in January 2026?
Singaporeans who meet the following eligibility conditions will receive the U-Save Rebates from the authority:
- You live in the Singapore HDB flats from a 1-room to an Executive/Multi-gen.
- If the HDB flat you live in is partially rented out, then at least one member must be a Singaporean citizen occupier or owner to get the rebates.
- If the whole flat is rented out, then at least one tenant must be a Singaporean citizen.
- The household members living in the HDB flat should not own more than one property or have any interest in purchasing more than one flat.
- Even if you rented the whole flat, the tenants must not have any interest in having more than one property.
What will be your U-Save Rebate for Jan 2026?
The U-Save rebates include GSTV, Assurance Package, and COL U-Save, where the GSTV U-Save is processed every quarter in April, July, October, and now in January 2026. The COL U-save was only processed in April and October 2025 as per the budget.
So, the eligible households will receive the GSTV and AP U-Save in January 2026. The total U-Save rebate for FY 2025, including all U-Save was between $440 and $760. You can check your expected U-Save rebates for January 2026 in the table below:

How will you receive your U-Save Rebates for Jan 2026?
As we said earlier, the eligible Singaporean households will receive the U-Save rebates automatically; there is no application required. The Singaporean authority will directly credit the U-Save rebate to the eligible household SP utilities account with SP services.
The eligible households can check their utility accounts with SP Services or reach out to SP Services to ensure their bill is offset. Your U-Save rebate will appear as a deduction from your utility bill or will show the amount that was offset from your account due to the rebate.
When will the U-Save Rebate for Jan 2026 be credited?
The Singaporean households will receive the last quarterly payment of the U-Save rebate in January 2026 directly to their utility accounts. The rebates processing date is not finalized, as they will be processed automatically, but you can expect the payment to reflect on your account by the first week of January 2026.
Eligible households will be notified about the U-Save payment through their SP App or a hard copy sent from the authority with their utility bills, and the rebate will affect the bill. If the U-Save rebate remains unused, the authority will use the unused rebate to offset your utility bills for the next month.
If you need any assistance or need more information about your U-Save rebate, you can call Singapore Power at 6671 7117 or submit your enquiry on the SupportGowhere official page for the U-Save, or you can inquire about the payment on the government benefits official website for GSTV and AP U-Save separately.
