AT&T has agreed to pay $177 million to resolve the telecom data class action settlement. The claim process has begun, and the settlement administrator has started sending the notice. If you were affected by the AT&T data incident, you can check the settlement eligibility, payout, and other details.
The lawsuit was filed against AT&T for the two data breaches announced on 30 March and 12 July 2024. The plaintiffs alleged that data incident 1 released the data to the dark web, and the customers’ sensitive information was compromised in both data incidents.
The settlement provides a maximum payout of up to $7500 to the eligible class members who will file the claim form before the deadline, 18 December 2025. The claim deadline was updated through the October 2025 court order to provide more time to the class members.
